Training budget slashed? We can still help!
In fact, now is the time you need us most. It's well known that companies which invest in their
workforce when times are tough benefit greatly when conditions improve. Likewise, public
sector organisations that make the effort to fund training in critical areas such as
communication are able to rapidly recover their effectiveness, even though they may have
suffered many redundancies.
Both sectors have one major factor in common when it comes to communication training. As an
independent company, with a very unusual background, we are in a unique position to be able
to analyse the communication needs of your senior people, cut through the issues and trauma
caused by the economic climate and deliver accurate and effective help right where and when
it's needed.
As a company, we run with minimum overheads, so are very cost-effective. We know that we
can help you. So even with a slashed training budget, can your organisation afford not to at
least contact us for a chat?

Halving the Cost of Professional Training
After a meeting with Angela Lewis of Go Wales, we are pleased to be able to tell you (if you don't know already) that businesses in Wales that employ less than 250 people can access up to 1500 pounds towards the cost of training and developing staff that have graduate level qualifications. That includes training on courses delivered by The Creative Work Place at our centre in mid Wales or at a venue chosen by you.

Creative Work Place in development discussions
We can't reveal details yet.
The Creative Work Place is in discussions with a number of UK
based public sector organisations with a view to co-developing our unique training methods
with them. The power and effectiveness of our techniques, drawing on experience in television
production, psychotherapy and company management have caught the imagination of senior
people in several organisations, all of whom want to know more about how we can collaborate
with them in designing training for their organisations.

Senior civil servants now "Communicating Effectively"
Busy executives in the Home Office have praised the effectiveness of our one-day
communication skills workshops. Held at the Home Office's Centre for Leadership and Learning
in central London, these new intensive courses enable senior civil servants to identify and tackle
areas where their communication skills might be improved.
We have now delivered most of the first series of "Communicating Effectively" workshops. Feedback has been extremely positive. Even participants who began the day thinking that they were expert communicators realised that there was much they could do to raise their game.
Innovative techniques drawn from Karen Whiteside and Andy Brice's production work in the television industry made each workshop demanding yet extremely rewarding.
