Achieving More with Less - Key Skills for Challenging Times is a series of courses designed to help organisations and teams of senior staff to manage change effectively.

When the going is good, most organisations can cope with an amount of inefficent or ineffective communication, but when the situation is critical, this constant drain on resources can threaten the whole enterprise. Drawing on work for the UK Government's Home Office and the Department for International Development, we have devised a series of programme delivering communication tools to meet the demands of these challenging times. The programmes draw on over twenty years working with the public and media communication experts. They focus on clarity, 'triage skills', 'difficult' conversations, motivating the survivors and coping with stress.

Achieving More with Less - One Day Workshop

A one-day workshop for teams and senior staff. With small group-size of four to six participants, this intensive course is eminently suitable for teams of senior staff - heads of department, for example, to work together to develop strategies for working together effectively, communicating clearly and carrying the organisation safely through changing times.

This workshop would normally be held at a venue near your workplace, but it can also be run in a retreat setting at our centre in mid Wales.

Achieving More With Less - Two Day Course

A two day course, normally residential, designed as a way for senior staff to really get to grips with a major change in their organisation. We work with them to detect and solve any communication problems, to develop new ways of communicating effectively and to use our unique methods of on-camera coaching to try out potential solutions to tough problems in a confidential and supportive environment away from the workplace.

We have substantial experience of working with organisations and teams to enable them to improve their communication skills. Communication is often referred to as the 'master skill' and by unlocking the potential in a team by enabling its members to communicate effectively with each other and with others outside the team, it's amazing what can be achieved.

The course fee includes a substantial amount of pre-course liaison time between your organisation and the Creative Work Place so that we can be well-briefed on the challenges facing you before the course begins.

This course is normally run at our residential retreat on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
