Working in a small group, with the Creative Work Place's unique set of techniques, participants will develop the skills to cope with demanding interview situations. We will work with them to help them to maintain focus on the message they want to put over; to speak with confidence and clarity; to give the kind of answers the interviewer needs; to keep to duration and to cope with the unexpected.

In a confidential and supportive environment, participants will be encouraged to work outside their 'comfort zone' and try out new ways of communicating. Camera and instant playback will be available to show participants their efforts so they can focus on what works and what can be improved.

This course will be based at a centre local to your workplace.

Advanced Interview Survival Kit

A one-day workshop for senior executives who at some time in the future may be facing a critically important interview.

Working in a very small group of no more than four participants, we take the group through an intensive communication skills course with the focus on achieving success confidently in an interview situation.

Participants will work with presentation skills, marshalling content, narrative, duration and the effects of body language. The first half of this one-day workshop will be devoted to honing techniques, while in the second, participants will have each have a chance to work with a skilled role-playing actor who will take them through ways of improving weak spots and try out new skills.

The course uses documentary filming techniques and supportive feedback to help participants extend their expertise in a range of challenging contexts.
