The Creative Work Place
The Creative Work Place offers a wide range of courses in media training, communication skills and personal development.
We deliver our full range of training and coaching services at our teaching centre in mid Wales or at our clients' own premises.
We help public and private sector organisations to get the most from their most valuable (and often most expensive) resource, namely their people.
We work with those people to develop the confidence and skills that will enable them to communicate more effectively.
Our work draws upon a wide range of disciplines, including documentary making, narrative, group dynamics and humanistic psychotherapy.
We work with people at all levels of seniority to develop their full potential.
Personal Development and Communication
Our development courses are designed to:

Our Unique Approach
Each of our courses draws on our unique portfolio of skills. These include expertise developed over twenty years as makers of television programmes where we worked with world-class media professionals such as Pierce Brosnan and Jodie Foster but also coached countless ordinary people to help them convey their message effectively.
During our courses, we use television camera, video recording and instant playback to enable course participants to become aware of their own communication habits. We use the same technique to enable participants to try out new ways of behaving when they communicate.
We work with actors and use camera, sound, lighting and editing as precise tools to recreate realistic but safe and confidential workplace scenarios in which participants can explore their newly learned ways of communicating. We encourage them to experiment, and to move outside their personal comfort zone. High quality, confidence-building feedback makes each stage a powerful and memorable learning experience.
